||Sift flour & sugar in bowl. Combine 1 stick of butter, ¼ cup cocoa, oil and 1 cup water in sauce pan, bring to a boil. Add to sugar and flour mixture and mix well. Stir in soda, salt, cinnamon, 1 tsp vanilla, eggs and ½ cup buttermilk. Pour into a 17 x 11 greased baking pan. Bake at 375º for 15 to 20 minutes or until cake test is done. Cool for 5 minutes.
Combine remaining stick of butter, ¼ cup cocoa and 1/3 cup buttermilk in sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Blend in powdered sugar and remaining 1 tsp of vanilla. Stir in pecans. Spread over warm cake.
