Type40.com began on 15 Apr 1999.  I got tired of my little 2 MB free website and wanted to get into ASP programming.  Doing something that you enjoy is a great way to learn, so I started off by replacing my static Doctor Who pages with dynamic ones.

I only started saving previous home pages in 2002 so many have been lost.  I was able to use Yahoo's cache history to restore a couple of old ones.  It is sad to know that these icons of greatness will be forever missing but, so it goes.
