Kraven challenges Beast to a hunt for the life of Avia; Tad Carter meets with a mysterious group of people wo seem to be interested in the X-Men, Lorna in particular; FBI liason Fred Duncan visits Professor X at the Martin home, and hints of a relationship between Teri Martin and the Professor are dropped; Beast defeats Kraven, and Marvel Girl wipes Kraven's memory of the encounter; Lorna is drawn by a mysterious voice, and floats away into the sky.
