X-Men

Tad Carter introduces Lorna to the other members of the Promise; The X-Men attempt to rescue Lorna, and are tricked into attacking each other by one of the telepathic members of the Promise; Teri Martin and Professor X discuss Ashley's mutancy, as Teri starts to develop feeling for the Professor; Lorna learns the origin of the promise, and is forced into suspended animation by Tobias Messenger, their leader, as are Angel and Havok.
