Simon Bucher-Jones lives in Wallington, Surrey, England, with two young daughters, and a wife called Sarah.  He did graduate from university, and also buys muffins on the way to work although he's not supposed to and lives in a house he couldn't afford to buy now.  None of his novels have won any large cash awards - but if someone wants to nominate this one he'll be grateful.  He's older than most of you, and only thinks he's incredibly wise, thus his dented appearance from the brickbats of the resentful.
