After saving a group of settlers from harassers, the Serenity crew depart.  Mal discovers a stowaway aboard, only to be surprised when she claims to be his wife.  Her name is Saffron and evidently she was given to him in payment for helping the settlers.  Come to find out, Mal's wife isn't as sweet as she appears.  She locks the controls of the Serenity toward a capture net for salvage.
