The mayor's gift gave Faith the ability to switch bodies with Buffy and she begins to take over Buffy's life.  In the meantime, the Watcher's Counsil has sent a task force to deal with Faith.  When they learn that they cannot get Faith out of the country, they determine that they will need to kill her - not knowing that she is really Buffy.  Willow and her new fried Tara discover the truth behind Buffy and Faith's condition and conjure a cure.  Just before leaving, Faith hears of a confrontation in a church and returns to kick vampire butt when she's also confronted by Buffy (in Faith's body).  Buffy is able to make the switch again but Faith disappears.
