While fighting, Angel stakes a vampire and recognizes her just before she turns to dust as an old acquaintance.  James, her lover, finds out that Angel is the one responsible and visits a demon doctor to help him get revenge.  When James confronts Angel, they learn that the doctor has made him invulnerable.
