Fred is just starting to open up to the group when she gets a visit from her parents.  When she runs away, the group are curious about what's going on.  Come to find out, Fred wanted to get more "normal" before seeing them again.  She decides to leave when as she feels she has no place at Angel Investigations.  When she helps save the group at the last minute, she changes her mind and decides to stay instead.
