Fred, having seen Jasmine's true face, is on the run.  Fred's trying to learn how Jasmine is controlling people when she appears on the television.  Everyone who sees her on TV starts to kneel and worship her.  Now that Jasmine has so many more "eyes" and "ears," Fred finds it more difficult to run.  She makes a stand at a book store where Jasmine shows up with Angel and Connor.  Fred shoots Jasmine and the bullet goes through her body and into Angel.  The mixture of blood causes Angel to see Jasmine as she truly is also.  Realizing what is happening, Jasmine orders the book store burned to the ground to destroy the blood she's left inside.
