Linna arrives in Mega Tokyo for the first time. She has a job at GENOM and is new to the Boomers that surround her in the city. We learn a little bit of history here. There was an earthquake six years ago and Boomers helped rebuild the city. There is also a space elevator to an orbital space station as well. Linna tells her friend that she wants to find out more about the Knight Sabers that she has read so much on the net about. As they are walking back with their food a motorcycle races by, almost hitting Linna. She runs after the girl on the motorcycle who motions to her head indicating that Linna has a cut. After chasing down the motorcycle and breaking a heal, Linna is reprimanded for her appearance by a Boomer at work. She is punished by having to clean the break room. One of the men stops by and asks her out in order to show her the sights.
The scene shifts to Nene, who is working at AD Police headquarters where things are pretty quite. Leon calls in from the Soto Ward that everything is quite there too. This just happens to be where the man from work, Cain, takes Linna, to a night club. On the way Linna sees a poster for Priss and recognizes the eyes as those of the girl's on the motorcycle. Elsewhere, a waste management Boomer starts to mutate which is first indicated by its eyes turning red.
Sylia walks through her lingerie shop when her butler yells to her that there is another reaction.
Linna is beginning to realize what a jerk this man Cain is. When she gets fed up with his advances, he tells her that he is the one that will decide what type of work she will do and that she'd better treat him right. The rogue Boomer picks that time to make its entrance. Leon and Daley respond to the call. Linna is caught in the crowd when she sees another exit. As she's running for it, the Boomer sees her and gives chase. They end up on a fire escape which give way under the weight of the Boomer. Just as Linna is about to give up, a blue suit figure comes to her rescue, the Knight Sabers. She motions for Linna to just where another Knight Saber is waiting to catch her. Linna won't and Priss, the blue Knight Saber, motions as she did before on the motorcycle when she pointed out the scratch on Linna's head. Linna falls and Nene catches her. Priss destroys the rogue Boomer and she and Nene take off just as the AD Police, Leon and Daley, arrive.
The next day at work Linna tells Cain just what she thought of last night. That night Linna confronts Priss after her show and tells her she knows she's a Knight Saber and that she wants to be a Knight Saber too.
