Makoto discovers that the young girl in bed with him is named Alielle and is actually Princess Fatora's lover.  Later, it is decided that the Eye of God, a floating weapon left over from the ancient El Hazard inhabitants, needs to be activated to stop the Bugrom advance.  Makoto, disguised as Fatora, leaves with Fujisawa and Alielle to go to Mt Muldoon.  Here they are to find the three priestesses and ask them to open the Eye of God.  Meanwhile, Jinai and the Bugrom have been informed of the trip and move to intercept them before they can talk to the priestesses.  Jinai and the Bugrom are defeated with the help of Shayla-Shayla, the Priestess of Fire.  Before they group can talk to them though, Shayla-Shalya and Afura Mann leave to go to a purification ceremony.
