Van awakens to find himself in the rooms of Folken.  He discovers that the man who has been causing so much destruction of Zaibach is in fact his older brother.  Meanwhile on the air ship, Hitomi tries to convince Allen that she can discern the whereabouts of Van so that they can mount a rescue attempt.  She makes her point and they begin their rescue from the floating fortress.  During the escape, Hitomi "sees" Van attacked from behind by Dilandau and rushes to warn him.
