Chronologically episode 2.  Haruhi decides that the SOS Brigade needs a computer and uses Mikuru to help get one from the Computer Club through some underhanded methods.  Yuki loans Kyon a book and eventually he discovers a message inside.  He meets up with her and she begins to tell he about herself and her "relationship" with Haruhi.  Kyon is beginning to think that he is surrounded by wackos.
