Everyone is on a trip to the zoo and Takemoto watches Hagu watch the giraffes and notices how she's taking in every detail so she can paint it later.  Mayama tells Shuuji about his staying with Rika a while back.  Shuuji tells him about the accident that killer Rika's husband and heavily scarred her.  He said that he was simply caring for her so that she wouldn't give up and die.  After a while he had learned that he was not the right person to help her and so that was why he'd recommended Mayama to her.  Later, final projects are due and everyone is working on them (except for Yamada who's already done).  Morita is almost through when he has another job offer and leaves.  Mayama get accepted to the architectural firm he applied to and everyone is happy and sad about it.  After a little party they have, Mayama takes a drunk Yamada home where she continually confesses to him that she loves him.
