White Tiger, who was cut by Jubei during the Freesia kidnapping and now sees the light, seeks out Mikage becuase he senses that she's been through the same thing.  She asks Mikage to ask Jubei to cut the rest of his clan in order to remove the curse on them.  Mikage is hesitant, knowing what this means to Jiyu.  Later Jiyu discovers that her father is ghost writing again and is not writing the romance novel her told her he would.  She runs off and everyone takes off after her.  Kita shows up and so does Ayunosuke and Freesia who transforms into the white-Jubei.  She gets the eyepatch from Ayunosuke.
