Pacifica is taken to the kind where he orders her killed but, Stahl convinces him that she could be useful against the peacemakers.  Raquel decides to go rescue Pacifica using a stealth spell that makes her invisible.  Prince Forsythe, Pacifica's twin, is taken from the castle by Bergens to Grendel because of his pestering the king to not go to war and wanting to see his sister.  Later, Shannon and CZ are before the king and Stahl outlines his plans against Giat.  When he produces Padifica as incentive for the peacemaker, CZ attacks her through the soldier guarding her.  The soldier turns into Steyr though who informs everyone that they have caused a reset which was just approved.  The reset give the peacemakers authority to kill 90% of the humans.  Soldiers attempt to kill Pacifica but Shannon defends her which brings forth her true memories, evidently erasing the once she'd made during her amnesia.  Pacifica is eventually taken away once more and Shannon must join with Zepheris to stop the slaying of humanity.  Upon discovering what's happening, Seness orders the Gigas operational in order to join the battle.
