Socom is talking to a woman who looks a lot like Pacifica and asking for permission to use first class divine punishment if needed but she refuses saying it's too dangerous inside the atmosphere.  Meanwhile, the Arrows, Leo, Winia, Seness and her group, and the Casulls are all in a forest just outside Grendel.  General Stahl orders troops and tanks to move out, find and kill the princess.  Later, at the camp, Pacifica discovers a bath token that Furet accidentlly took from a sento.  Although she doesn't remember him, this brings very sad feelings to her and she cries.  Later the next day, she is confronted by the woman that looks like her and she is asked if a caged bird yearns to fly.  Not fully understanding the question, she becomes suspicious when the woman calls her the Providence Breaker and yells for help.  When help arrives, the woman is gone and not even Zepheris can detect her.  Meanwhile, in Grendel, one of the cardinals of Mauser approaches Prince Forsythe about doing what is necessary to prevent further casualties among the people.
