Motoko and Batou are in Berlin as a part of a group effort to find a terrorist who calls himself Angel's Feathers.  Batou learns that he has a daughter that he sees every time before her blows something up.  He tracks down the terrorist to a church but his feelings almost get the best of him.  Fortunately Motoko is there to bail him out.
