Yuji learns what the Blue have done to the city - and to the Earth.  Mankind has been forced to head into space and live on the space station called Second Earth.  The Sleeper Recovery Team head to the space port where Yuji sees other sleeper units not yet awakened.  Before they can be loaded onto the transport the Blue attack.  The Sleeper Recovery Team suffer casualties in getting Yuji out of there as the space port is destroyed around them.
