Running from the Blue in a sandstorm, Yuji is separated from Marlene and Dice.  He's found by a young girl named Elena from a nomad tribe and taken in.  Some ex-military show up with armor and demand supplies from the nomads and Yuji helps by taking over the mecha they have.
