Yuji and Marlene are both brought before the council where the reason for needing sleepers is explained.  Yuji says that he'll cooperate only if Marlene is to be his partner.  Yuji and Marlene are taken for testing where they meet two other Sleepers, Tony and Alicia.  Marlene and Yuji battle Tony and doing fairly well but Tony wins in the end.
