The assassin who has been stalking Kenichi finally makes a big time move.  When the leader of the Black Scissors discovers that the assassin has a hard time dealing with Mikura, he gets her out of the way.  Kenichi goes to the police chief for help and, after he leaves, it's revealed that he's the one who hired the Black Scissors.  He wants to get rid of everyone who knows about his illicit affair with a much younger girl, a movie star the same age as his daughter.
