Lister teaches Kryten how to lie and deceive people contrary to his programming.  On a routine flight, Kryten responds to a distress signal and rescues a "lovely" android.  The strange thing is that Rimmer sees her as a lovely hologram and Lister sees her differently also.  They learn that she is in fact a pleasure GELF (genetically engineer life form).  Kryten and the GELF hit it off well even when he sees her true form, a mass of green globby stuff.  Eventually her significant other arrives and Kryten must say goodbye.
