Yomiko is a book worm.  She also works for the British Library in the Special Operations Division.  One day out shopping for books, she finds one that she really wants when it is snatched from her by a man on a flying insect.  She uses her powers to manipulate paper to retrieve the book and then meets Joker, he boss, on the street.  She's called in to help with the case involving her book.  She's teamed up with Miss Deep, who can phase through things, and Drake, a soldier, in order to discover what happened in the US at the White House and the Library of Congress.
