Gherta remembers when she was a young girl in Germany in 1970 and she visited a museum. She learned about Conrad Rontgen and saw a little poem in one of his books. This affected her for some reason. Years later she is working for GED and they have hit a wall in their research. She travels to Clairemont where the fragment was found when she's confronted by Dumas. She has claustophobia and he seems to effect her the same way. Before she passes out, he gives her what appears to be a cypher for the codes in the fragment. Dumas returns to talk with his father who cannot enter the world he is in and we discover that they want to get rid Tina. Helga and the rest of the group arrive at the place where Seraphine died. She begins to remember things from her past life. As she walks to the back of the house she suddenly remembers another name - Christina.
