After the Will's funeral, Jaime is confronted by Jonas but she doesn't want anything to do with him or his agency.  Later, she's able to help a woman who is about to kill herself and changes her mind.  She reports to Jonas for training.  When a small town is hit by a mysterious illness, she volunteers to tag along with Ruth Treadwell and investigate the problem.  They discover a survivor and a group of commandos in the town.  After questioning one of the commandos, they discover a plot to deliver biological weapons to several US cities.  The agency is able to put a stop to it and Jaime feels both scared and relieved to have been a part of it.
