The Schiff prepare to attack Red Shield again now that Irene has the Thorn.  Julia meanwhile has determined that there is a D-factor - a fifth base in the DNA makeup - by observing Riku's transformation into a Chevalier.  Mao and Akihiro finally find Saya and Kai but are caught by Lewis.  David says will send them back to Japan unless they can convince them otherwise.  When the Schiff arrive, Kai tries to talk Saya into helping them save Irene.
