Kantarou and Haruka deny the two sisters' advances.  Youko and Suzu follow their mother to the house of a previous victim and Kantarou catches up to them there.  They wonder what she's there for.  Meanwhile, the twins go to the festival where the sicker one collapses.  After talking to Kantarou she determines to go on so that people will remember her life.  Later, Suzu is entranced and brings Haruka to the older sister's room where she tries to kill him.  Kantarou shows up and stops the ritual and they learn that she is behind all of the killings, thinking that they would somehow help her sister.
