Minagi's mother has had a mental problem since the death of her youngest daughter named Michiru and has since thought that Minagi was her.  Minagi never corrected her.  Now she's remembered about Michiru's death, she doesn't know who Minagi is.  Minagi has left her house and is staying at the train station were Yukito is since leaving Misuzu's.  At work he learns from Hijiri that she's starting to remember and so he brings Minagi to see her mother.  She recognizes Minagi and all is apparently well.  Now Michiru meets Minigi's mother but now she must go as her time here is over.  She's apparently somehow connected to the girl with wings and came to Minagi for her comfort.  When Yukito goes to get Misuzu for school he finds her on the floor passed out.
