Sarah, John and Cameron have arrived in 2007 but so has the shattered body of the Terminator that was hunting them.  A cleanup crewman finds the head and takes it home.  Meanwhile the Connors are looking to get new identities.  Cameron takes her to a place where people from the future are to be but they find them dead and a Terminator inside.  They escape and later Sarah heads to Enrique's, someone she trusted in the past, to get the papers but he's retired and so he points her to his cousin instead.  He tells them that they need to raise $20,000 for the work.  John sneaks out and heads to a mall where he looks himself up on the Internet.  He discovers that he and his mother a presumed dead but he also finds a listing for Charley Dixon.  He goes to his house and learns that he's married now but he runs off when Charley comes home.  The Terminator body moves from the junk yard after killing a man there and begins searching for its head.  The trio head back to the safe house to see if there is anything stashed there and find a safe with a bag in it.  This gives them enough resources to get the papers.  Sarah overhears them talking in Spanish about Enrique being a rat and so she returns to ask him about it and Cameron caps him.  The Terminator from the past visits the cleanup crewman's house and retrieves his head.
