Sarah begins her search for the missing Terminator hand while Cameron begins looking for information on the Turk and Dmitri.  Sarah brings home a tape from Agent Ellison's house and John plays it, learning that she had signed over her rights as his mother to the state.  Meanwhile, Agent Ellison pays a visit to Sarah's old psychiatrist, Dr Silverman.  What he discovers is that the doctor has become a little unhinged by what he saw when Sarah broke out of the psychiatric ward and is now a believer in the machine doomsday stories she once told.
