Torchwood awakens a man named Tommy that they've had frozen since 1918 for his yearly health check.  He and Toshiko have grown fond of each other for the four days over the last four years that they've been doing this.  Unfortunately, this appears to be the year that the events unfold for which he is there.  Now, knowing his future - their past - Toshiko must persuade him to follow through with the plan.
