Gwen discovers that people all around Cardiff have been going missing and that it appears to have something to do with the rift.  Jack tells her to drop it after she and Toshiko present their findings but she cannot.  She discovers, with Ianto's help, a place run by Jack housing some of the missing people.  The truth of things, however, is slightly more complicated.
