Fuu works in a diner in a town run by a corrupt governor and must put up with his belligerent son. A man walks into the diner and offers to remove the rowdy gang for the price of 50 dumplings. Fuu, after a mishap and the threat of having her finger cut off, agrees to 100 dumplings. Meanwhile, the governor is about to execute a poor man when a mysterious man wearing glasses approaches. He takes out the elite guard and the governor runs off. He later shows up at the diner in the midst of a fight. He and the swordsman begin fighting among themselves while a fire breaks out. They are both captured and sentenced to be executed since the governor's son was killed in the fire. Fuu offers to free the men in order to help her look for a samurai that smells like sunflowers but her plans are cut short when the guards arrive. It's sunset and the two swordsmen, Jin and Mugen, are to be executed but are able to escape their bonds and begin fighting the guards. Fuu helps with some explosives and the three make their way out of town.
