The trio arrive near a place where Mugen grew up and he is met by a man and a girl he once knew named Kozan.  She seems to have feelings for him while her brother Mukuro wants Mugen to help with a raid on a government ship full of gold.  Mugen decides to help after losing a dare but what he discovers is that he's been fooled.  He winds up on a boat as bombs go off, sinking it.  Jin and Fuu watch from the coast as it happens.
