Sara and Jin are dropped into the river when Jin cuts the bridge ropes to escape.  Fuu and Mugen find Sara but not Jin.  That night Mugen recovers some of Sara's stuff and realizes who she is.  They meet and she nearly kills him but Fuu stops her.  Jin has been rescued by an old man who imparts some wisdom on him and then he returns to find the wounded Mugen.  Mugen once again goes to confront Sara now knowing that she is doing this to save her son.  They fight and he takes some of the wisdom passed on by Jin to help him.  It works though not well enough to defeat her.  Sara, however,  seems to pull back at the last moment allowing Mugen to take her out.  She tells him that she realized that her son has been dead for some time and that they were just using her.  Mugen tells her to go after those that hired her but she tells him that she cannot since the government is the one that hired her.
