Mugen fairs poorly against Kagetoki Kariya but Jin challenges him and tells Mugen to go find Fuu.  Jin discovers that Kagetoki, possibly the best swordsman in the shogunate, is the reason that his master wanted to turn their dojo into an assassins den and tried to kill him.  Mugen, meanwhile, catches up to the men on the island after a run in with the crazy one on board the boat.  They've captured Fuu and are holding her in the church.  They have a grudge against Mugen for what he did to their oldest brother during on of their raids when he was younger.
