The Stolen Earth
28-Jun-2008
Season 4 Episode 14
Episode 56 of 59
The Doctor and Donna arrive on Earth and everything looks fine, until it's stolen out from underneath them.  Sarah Jane Smith, Torchwood and UNIT with Martha all try to figure out what's going on.  Meanwhile, the Doctor and Donna pay a visit to the Shadow Proclamation and learn that several other planets have gone missing as well.  The Doctor uses the disappearing bees on Earth to track it down but the path apparently leads nowhere.  Meanwhile on Earth the Daleks are invading.  Ex-Prime Minister Harriet Jones uses a special communications net to link Sarah Jane, Torchwood and UNIT together in order to get a signal out to the Doctor.  Rose, who has arrived and is in Donna's mother's and grandfather's house, is left out of the communications.  The Doctor gets the signal and learns that the planets have been moved a half second out of phase.  Harriet is killed when the Daleks trace her signal.  Martha uses the project Indigo to get away from UNIT HS in New York with a special data chip.  The Daleks then head to Torchwood Cardiff and Captain Jack is able to teleport out beforehand leaving Ianto and Gwen to hold the shop.  The Doctor and Donna arrive on Earth and he finds Rose.  As they are running toward each other, a Dalek hits the Doctor and wounds him.  Captain Jack arrives to kill the Dalek and they are able to get him into the TARDIS just as the regenerative process begins.
