Starbuck is slowly going mad as the fleet jumps further and further from Earth but, no one listens to her because of their suspicions.  Apollo leaves the military to pursue his new career and is sent off with honors.  He visits Starbuck and tells her that he believes her.  Meanwhile, the Cylons have voted to lobotomize the raiders so that they will not refuse to attack the fleet again.  The Twos, Sixes and Eights are adamant that the raiders turned back because they discovered one of the five amound the fleet.  The vote is approved, however, when the Boomer Eight votes against the other Eights causing a majority.  This leads to Number Six removing the  telencephalic inhibitors on the centurions, giving them the ability to reason.  When they learn about the lobotomies, the take it out on the Ones, Fours and Fives who voted for it.  Adama, not wanting to disbelieve Starbuck but finding it hard not to, puts her in charge of a ship and crew so that she can look for Earth.
