Ranmaru discovers that he has a strange looking tattoo on his arm and his sister, seeing it, makes him go to the hospital to have it checked out. The doctor gets a blood sample just to check and, while he is waiting on the lab results, Ranmaru decides to check out the older section of the hospital.  He enters it through a window since it is heavily guarded and discovers a comatose patient.  His arm starts to hurt and then be passes out.  He awakens and Sakura is there.  She tells him that the patient is her brother.  Meanwhile, the blood results are abnormal and strange things happen to the doctors looking at them.  Tokko must stop them before things get out of hand but not before Ranmaru discovers that the creatures can smell the blood from the survivors of his apartment massacre and this includes his sister.
