A Ghoul materializes and Jean Luc sabotages the laser system.  Luxandra is on the front lines.  Kiri shows up late and is left behind while Misaki, still trying to come to grips with her situation, stays behind and climbs into a rampart armor in the hanger.  In the Core, Luxandra is eaten by the Ghoul and Misaki can see it as the Ghoul's spectral image shows up near her.  She transforms and destroys the Ghoul.
