Shiki and Ciel join up to find Arcueid and they find her and Roa at the school.  Arcueid is killed by Roa is disintegrates.  This causes Shiki to fight with a vengeance.  With his ability to see the red lines he locates the nexus point and, with Ciel's help, kills him.    The next day Ciel disappears as if she has never been and only Shiki remembers her.  Shiki goes to the tree and thanks the muse that gave him his glasses and she tells him goodbye.  After school Shiki sees Arcueid and she thanks him for everything and then disappears.
