The war buffs Sousuke and Shinji and the rest of the school gang, go to a competition and display of AS armor.  Shinji's father is in the military it become apparent that he is not proud of his father, since he is only a secretary.  One of the "bad guys" pick up on Kaname and she winds up in an AS with him.  Meanwhile Sousuke teams up with Shinji and his father to help out their team.
