Echo's pod awakens at night and they all eventually work their way around to deciding on escape.  One of the five gets caught but, Echo, Victor, Sierra and November make their way to the outside world.  Once in the parking garage however, Echo decides she needs to go back inside and free the rest of those in there.  Outside November goes to see her daughter and Sierra must confront the man who put her in the Dollhouse.  Victor tags along with Sierra.  Echo cuts the power and finds her way to Topher and gets him, at gunpoint, to tell her about what he does.  Then, when Adelle shows up, Echo gets her to let all of the "actors" out.  Once outside Echo passes out.  The whole awakening was part of a plan concocted by Dr Claire Saunders to give the most troubled "actors" something to stabilize them bit.
