Rather than write about myself in third person, allow me to thank you for reading my book, dear reader, and to introduce myself. A medievalist with special interests in Old English, Old Norse, and various mythological traditions, I teach English composition and literature and run a YouTube channel ("Philip Chase" or "PhilipChaseThe-BestofFantasy") dedicated to the exploration of the fantasy genre.
