Jun, a man who had followed Yurika to the Nadesico, has decided that he must side with the military to stop them.  He gets nano implants in order to be a pilot and heads out.  Meanwhile the Nadesico must build up speed in order to reach orbit.  They also will have to break through the defense barriers since the military won't deactivate them.  Later, a group of military men who helped in trying to subvert the Nadesico take off.  When they see Gai in the hanger, they shoot him.
