A Galactica shuttle arrives near the infected Basestar which causes them to investigate. Once they learn that there is an infection aboard, they bring the few Cylon survivors onto the Galactica under quarantine. Doc Cottle determines that the infection is not harmful to humans and even Sharron is immune due to her having been pregnant with a half-human baby. With this news they create a stop-gap cure and use it to gather information from the Cylons in exchange for their lives. Apollo realizes that they can lure a Resurrection ship near them and kill the Cylons, forcing them to download in it, a wipe out all of the Cylons. Helo has a problem with genocide but the newly reinstated President Roslin orders it to be carried out. Meanwhile, Baltar is under intense torture after the Cylons learn that he omitted information on the beacon aboard the Basestar that caused the infection. Thinking that he either created the virus or knows about it in some way, D'Anna uses her methods to extract the information she's looking for. What she doesn't know is that Baltar is able to use the Cylon projection method to have his own internal version of Number Six help him through it.
