After Baltar's lawyer gets killed on the Galactica, Apollo is put in charge of security.  This doesn't sit well with him since he's essentially being grounded as well and he thinks it has to do with his reaction to Starbuck's death.  While providing security to Baltar's council, he begins to learn a few things and, coincidentally, the man learned many tricks from Lee's grandfather.
