Starbuck has been having dreams about the strange symbol she used to paint and about Leoben.  She starts to get freaked out when she begins seeing things while awake.  She pays a visit to a seer who tells he the same things that Leoben once did about her past and her destiny.  While on patrol she sees a Cylon raider and give pursuit.  Later, on board the Galactica, the is no sign on her Viper of her engaging the enemy.  Apollo is now faced to grounding his best pilot but he opts to let her continue and he becomes her wingman.  Once again on patrol she sees a raider and takes off but she's hit and knocked unconscious.  She dreams of her mother and Leoben is there.  She imagines what it would have been like had she come back before she died.  When she awakens she tells Apollo that she is going into the light and then her ship blows up.
